To set up your static IP address: - Click the Start button, and select Control Panel.
- Click the Network and Internet Connections link.
- Click the Network Connections link.
- Right-click the Local Area Connection icon, and select Properties.
Note: If your Local Area Connection is not listed, you need to configure your Ethernet card. For assistance, refer to your computer's documentation or contact your computer's vendor for instructions. - Click the Properties button.
- Select the Use the Following IP Address option.
- In the IP Address text box, type your IP address.
- In the Subnet Mask text box, type your subnet mask.
- In the Default Gateway text box, type your default gateway.
Select the Use the Following DNS Server Addresses option. - Set your DNS Server Search Order.
- In the Preferred DNS Server text box, type: 65.39.104.1
- In the Alternate DNS Server text box, type: 65.39.104.2
In the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window, click OK. - Click the Close button.
- Restart your computer.
