Turning Off the Peer-to-Peer Downloads Function of the Updater to Improve Your Internet:

Step 1: Open the World of Warcraft folder (C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft), and double-click on BackgroundDownloader.exe

Step 2: Click on View > Preferences

Step 3: Uncheck Enable Peer-to-Peer Transfer

Step 4: Click OK.

The Background Downloader should now say:

Note: Peer-to-Peer networking is disabled.
